Tim Wells

As long-time editor of the all mouth and trousers poetry magazine Rising, Tim Wells has published the work of established writers such Sean O'Brien, August Kleinzahler, John Stammers, Matthew Sweeney, Fred Voss, Clare Pollard and Babyshambles front-man, Pete Doherty.

But his own work as a poet and performer has seen him touring the U.S. (a dozen times), translated into German and Chinese, working as a guest poet on Radio London and supporting The Libertines with his 'Cockney Hell' poetry show.

A regular contributor to the Illustrated Ape and Nude magazines, his three books from Donut Press are Boys' Night Out in the Afternoon, A Man Can Be a Drunk Sometimes but a Drunk Can't Be a Man and If You Can Read This, You're Too Close.
