Colette Bryce was born in Derry in 1970 and now lives in Newcastle upon Tyne where she is the current North East Literary Fellow. She
has published two collections of poetry with Picador, The Heel of Bernadette (2000) and The Full Indian Rope Trick (2004), and has received several awards for her work including first prize in the National Poetry Competition.
