Matthew Caley's first collection, Thirst (Slow Dancer, 1999), was shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best First Collection. His second, The Scene of My Former Triumph (Wrecking Ball Press, 2005) was followed by a third, Apparently, (Bloodaxe, 2010). Professor Glass was published by Donut Press in February 2011.
